We're Gorée Cuisine, a family-owned West African-Senegalese restaurant in the Kenwood neighborhood of Chicago, IL. Gorée Cuisine is a West African restaurant located in the heart of Chicago, Illinois. Since opening in 2015, Gorée Cuisine has been dedicated to sharing the vibrant and diverse flavors of Senegalese cuisine with the local community. Best African food in the City of Chicago from what I’ve found. Service is good but a take some time because they are always busy. I recommend trying the Saka and fufu with a side of Fatalia and a cup of Gingembe. I prefer it so much they don’t give me a menu they already know what I want. The owner Adam is a great guy and they have an African apparel shop next door with beautiful garments. I suggest everyone stop by and check them out
