Gorée Cuisine is a West African restaurant located in the heart of Chicago, Illinois. Three of us dined here on a Sunday for lunch and enjoyed the spring rolls, Dibi lamb, and Maffe chicken, plantains and traditional Sengalese rice along with several different juice drinks. The food was flavorful and delicious. One person from our group is from Senegal and said the food is very authentic. They appeared to be short-staffed likely due to the Eid holiday, but that didn’t impact the enjoyment of our meal. Staff were super friendly. Free street park available. I’m going back to try more!

Great neighborhood spot for delicious Senegalese food. My food came quickly after I ordered it and was so so good. Plantain was perfectly ripe and my yassa chicken and djolof were very flavorful. Love supporting them!
